John Sentamu, the Archbishop of York, has been patron of Brunswick since 2007. He regularly invites us, along with other charities he supports, to the Archbishop's Palace in Bishopthorpe, so that he can find out about our current projects and offer his encouragement and appreciation.

We have a further association with the Archbishop as we rented the Archbishop's Palace Walled Gardens from the Church Commissioners since 2004. Over that time we have restored the gardens from wilderness to productive land. The Walled Gardens are also home to our Woodworking group.
