Do you thrive on being at the centre of operations? Are you perceptive, reflective and able to think holistically about people? Are you energised when creating opportunities which enable others to develop? Are you highly organised and able to shape good information systems to manage all the information required in an adult social care setting?

We are looking for an energetic, flexible and skilful Service Manager who ideally has experience in adult social care.  We’re looking for someone who can efficiently and warmly oversee processes from welcoming new service users and supporting high quality annual reviews with them, to supporting staff and exploring new ideas of what Brunswick can offer.  The Service Manager will be our safeguarding lead and so being able to sensitively handle complex situations is vital as well as having good judgement. You will need to be able to step in to support unforeseen situations that may occur during the day and then reprioritise your work as needed. You will need to have the confidence to make sensible and swift decisions. This role is incredibly varied and we’re looking for someone who can thrive in a role where no two days are the same.

All staff roles involve building relationships and pooling our knowledge to enable people with learning difficulties (‘workers’) at Brunswick to have the fullest lives possible at Brunswick and beyond. In this role in particular, the ability to build meaningful relationships with people is essential as the postholder’s interactions will include supporting staff in complex situations, understanding worker’s wishes, liaising with parents and carers and social workers too.

If you have a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, a straight-forward approach and want a role that makes a difference, then we’d love to hear from you.
